Book Club Potluck on Wednesday, November 14, at 6 p.m.
November selection is Water Ghosts, a novel about the Delta town of Locke.
The November Book Club meeting will be a potluck at Sadia Niazi's home. The book selection is Water Ghosts, a critically-acclaimed novel by Shawna Yang Ryan about the Sacramento River town of Locke in its heyday. Ms. Ryan wrote the novel as her master's thesis in Creative Writing at UC Davis. Sadia will be providing a main dish. Please let her know what you would like to bring.
