Inside look at American diplomacy

Journalist and author will talk about his experiences covering U.S. diplomats

Would you like to hear a talk on American diplomacy by an insider who has traveled around the world with U.S. diplomats?

If so, you'll have a chance to do that Tuesday evening, Jan. 29, when Nicholas Kralev, author of  America's Other Army: The U.S. Foreign Service and 21st Century Diplomacy, will speak to club members. 

Kralev, a former Financial Times and Washington Times correspondent as well as a member of the Harvard Club of Washington, D.C., has visited more than 50 U.S. embassies and interviewed scores of diplomats.

Tom Rose '67 will host the event at his Sacramento home, 1731 13th Avenue, facing Land Park. It will start at 7 p.m. Guests are asked to bring an appetizer. Drinks will be provided.
