Book Club to discuss Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents

For September's book club discussion, the host has selected Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents, by Pulitzer Prize–winning, bestselling author Isabel Wilkerson. In this book, Isabel Wilkerson gives us a masterful portrait of an unseen phenomenon in America as she explores, through an immersive, deeply researched narrative and stories about real people, how America today and throughout its history has been shaped by a hidden caste system, a rigid hierarchy of human rankings.
The Zoom meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 9th, at 4:30 pm, and participants are welcome to enjoy a beverage, alcoholic or not, during the meeting!
