Welcome to Sacramento
Recent graduates of the college are invited to meet and connect with each other, along with other local alumni
A Welcome to Sacramento for alumni who have graduated from Harvard College in the past 10 years is planned for Tuesday evening, Oct. 20. The event at the Iron on Broadway restaurant will run from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. It is designed to provide fun and informal opportunities for recent alumni to meet and connect with each other, while also welcoming the youngest class of alumni to the Sacramento area.
The Harvard Alumni Association will email invitations to members of the Harvard College Classes of 2006–2015, but other local Harvard alumni are welcome to attend.

The local get-together is part of an annual Welcome to Your City event series organized by the College Alumni Programs office of the Harvard Alumni Association in collaboration with regional clubs and volunteers during the month of October. The events are free, but food and beverage may be available for purchase.
In 2014, alumni volunteers organized events in 37 cities, including Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Beijing, Boston, Cambridge, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Las Vegas, London, Los Angeles, Madison, Miami, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Louis, Toronto, and Washington, D.C. More than 1,200 alumni attended these events.
