Book Club: September 14th
Book Club to discuss A Passage to India, The Quiet American, and The Heart of Darkness
The next Book Club meeting will be on Wednesday, September 14th at 6:30 pm, at the remodeled Paragary's Restaurant at 28th and N in Sacramento. The table may or may not be on their patio, so bring a sweater just in case.
You may read one or more of the following books: A Passage to India, by E.M. Forster; The Quiet American, by Graham Greene; or The Heart of Darkness, by Joseph Conrad. Each book looks at 19th and early 20th century colonialism in different parts of the world and from a different perspective.
