Bring the whole family to celebrate the end of summer at Tahoe East Shore Trail!
Lake Tahoe morning hike & lunch together with the Harvard Clubs of Northern Nevada & Sacramento.
*Due to poor air quality in and around the Lake Tahoe region, this event has been rescheduled for Sunday, September 19th.
Meet at 9am in front of the Tunnel Creek Cafe (at 1115 Tunnel Creek Road, Incline Village, NV 89541) to hike the beautiful, newly constructed (2019) East Shore trail in Incline Village. More of a walk than a hike, this three mile paved trail system connects Incline Village south to Sand Harbor State Park. The total round-trip walking distance is thus approximately six miles. The trail is free, with paid parking available at the entrance (you might want to come a little early to ensure you can get a spot). If you choose to enter Sand Harbor State Park, there is a $10 fee per person and you can explore the beaches, trails and rock formations there. We'll follow the hike with an informal casual lunch back at Tunnel Creek Cafe for any who would like to participate. Lunch will be pay-as-you-go individually.
