HCS Parents' Club Goes to The Nutcracker

It's a wonderful family tradition!

UPDATE: Fourteen HCS parents and children enjoyed an afternoon of fun and fantasy at the Sacramento Ballet production of The Nutcracker. Pictures from the event can be found at the Photo Albums page.

Join the parents and children of the Harvard Club of Sacramento at a matinee production of The Nutcracker by the Sacramento Ballet. Our group of 10 or more will receive a 10% discount on seats in the middle of the orchestra, rows R-V. Tickets are $46 for adults and $27 for children. Please purchase your tickets for the 1 p.m. show on Sunday, December 11, at your earliest convenience. To buy tickets, contact Christine Pierson, Sacramento Ballet ticketing coordinator at 916-552-5800, ext. 2, M-F from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1:30 to 3 p.m., and use the code "Harvard." Ms. Pierson will try to seat everyone in the same row. Directions and parking information are available here.

We plan to meet in the Community Center theater lobby 20 minutes before the show. Afterwards, the kids will enjoy hearing performers answer questions from the steps leading down to the lobby. Sadia Niazi, sadiafniazi@hotmail.com, is coordinating the event, so please let her know if you plan to attend and if you know a musician or dancer who might be willing to meet the children backstage either before or after the show. If you are in the mood for a late lunch or early supper, we can then adjourn to the Old Spaghetti Factory. It's a great way to create lasting memories.
