Public Art Tour of New, Billion-Dollar, Sac Int'l Airport Terminal,

The brand new, billion-dollar Terminal B at Sacramento International Airport features 12 wonderful public art pieces, including the iconic red rabbit.  Come see it all on Saturday, March 17.  

  • Meet event organizer Wendy Jordan at 10 a.m. for an overview of the new terminal and a 1-2 hour tour conducted by the Volunteer Coordinator of the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission. 
  • View the mix of structures, art and concessions spotlighting the unique natural and historical features of the Sacramento area. 
  • Bring your friends and children (must be 12 and above).  The cost is $8.50 per person.  (Wendy will collect on tour day; cash is fine, or make checks out to "Friends of the Arts Commission."  
  • Event is limited to 30 people, so sign up soon.  A few days before the 17th, our tour guide will provide directions, parking info, and a meeting location.  
  • RSVP wendy_jordan@yahoo.com by March 14.  If you are hungry post-tour, two places in the terminal serve lunch.
