Book Club to Meet Wednesday, July 11, at 6:30 p.m.
We'll be discussing Ann Patchett's novel, State of Wonder.
Join your fellow bibliophiles for an enjoyable evening of food and talk on Alice Schilla's beautiful back deck. This annual summer event is one of the highlights of the Book Club year. The book under discussion is Ann Patchett's novel, State of Wonder, which recently came out in paperback and is available on Amazon among other places. It will be a cold-dish potluck with Alice providing a main course. Please let her know (amschilla1@yahoo.com) if you are able to come and, if so, what you would like to bring, such as appetizers, main course salads or other dishes, bread, wine, non-alcoholic drinks, dessert, or whatever else strikes your fancy. Alice will send out reminders and directions about a week in advance.
