Filmmaker challenge
See what area contestants created in only 10 days
The challenge for budding Sacramento-area filmmakers was to make a compelling 10-minute film in 10 days. They were given a theme and specific required elements, such as props, lines of dialogue and film production styles.
You can see what the competitors in the 10x10 Filmmaker Challenge came up with as part of the 14th annual Sacramento Film and Music Festival. The finished projects will screen Sunday, Sept. 15th, at the Crest Theatre, beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets are available at the door.
One of the films, "Present Tense," was written and directed by Ben Steiner '10. He is the son of Harvard Club of Sacramento board member Suzy Underwood '72.
