Fables galore
Author will read from his book
Ramsay Wood will read from his book Kalila and Dimna during the Fire and Ice Solstice event in Placerville on Dec. 21. The book recounts fables of friendship and betrayal from the Panchatantra, Jatakas, Bidpai, Kalilah and Dimnah and Lights of Canopus.
Wood will speak at 4 p.m. at the Folklore Lounge in Placerville.
