Awaken to poetry

Book club members will share poems of spring

Book club members will celebrate poetry month at their April 8 meeting. Members and guests are encouraged to select a poem to read aloud about spring or any other kind of awakening. Please bring 10 copies of the poem for distribution.

The meeting, which will include a potluck dinner, will start at 6:30 p.m. at Alice Levine’s midtown Sacramento home. Please bring a salad, a dessert or beverages. Alice will provide a springtime main dish.
