Update: Unfortunately due to the large winter, the Carpenter Valley trail that was planned for the hike in Tahoe is not in good shape. Instead, a low-elevation alternative for the same Sunday, July 16th, is being offered: the paved East Shore Trail in Incline Village. Because parking gets very crowded during the summer at this location, the start time has also been updated, now moved to 8:30 AM to make parking easier. This earlier start should help with the high temperatures (90 degrees), which we anticipate for this coming weekend as well.
