HIDDEN FALLS HIKE - Saturday, June 4th
What better way to launch June than through a refreshing hike to serene local waterfalls!
Hidden Falls Regional Park is located at 7587 Mears Place, Auburn, CA 95602 – about a 45-60 minute drive from the Sacramento area.
On Saturday, June 4, the Harvard Club of Sacramento will explore the natural beauty of Placer County’s Hidden Falls Regional Park. Join us as we traverse five to six miles, taking a short segment on Poppy Trail (hard), South Legacy Way (easy), Hidden Falls Access Trail (0.5 miles/moderate), North Legacy Way (easy), and Blue Oak Loop (moderate), closing the loop back through South Legacy Way (easy). A great way to build in both cardio and camaraderie!
We will meet in the parking lot by 8:00 a.m. and begin walking shortly thereafter, expecting to be finished by around 11:00 a.m.
There is no potable water in the park, so everyone should bring plenty of water – the amount of two liters per person is suggested. Sturdy footwear, sunblock and insect repellent are also recommended.
Parking reservations are required on all weekends and has a charge of $8.00, which can be purchased online prior to arrival. (Go to Hidden Falls Regional Park on the Placer County website to make your parking reservation, check out trail maps and get other information.)
To sign up, purchase your parking permit first and then send a confirmation by Thursday, June 2, 2022, of your participation to Saralyn M. Ang-Olson at saralyn.m.ang.olson@gmail.com or call (916) 475-6886.
