JULY 2025 HARVARD CLUB OF SACRAMENTO BOOKGROUP selection: The Nickel Boys by Colson Whitehead.  The book discussion will be hybrid in person and zoom on Thursday, July 10^th 6-7PM
 

July is FICTION month!  We’ll discuss the Nickel Boys by Colson Whitehead.  WINNER OF THE PULITZER PRIZE FOR FICTION • New York Times Bestseller • Longlisted for The National Book Award • Winner of The Kirkus Prize • Winner of the Orwell Prize for Political Fiction • One of Publishers Weekly's 10 Best Books of the Year.  This book that examines the story of 2 boys unjustly sentenced to reform school in Jim Crow era Florida.
